we've already had four meetings in practicum class and the festival program is starting to shape up. right now, we're concretizing our timeline, setting our deadlines and praying that the companies we approached will give us money before this year (not school year) ends. actually, we're hoping that they give us money before december even begins.

everything will fall apart if we don't have money. isn't that sad? but we're doing our best to raise funds, as well as asking people to believe in us, to invest in us. though, our resources are a little bit tapped out. do you have any suggestions as to who else we can approach?

on other news, we're going to start the casting call for the seven plays (yes! seven!) and one film, next week. it'll be held from november 30 to december 3. yes, that's a saturday. we'll have auditions in the afternoon, from 4:30 to 6:30--except for december 3, when we'll have it in the morning. venue is yet to be announced, though.

please help us! support fine arts!

on that note, please also support the last humanities week event tomorrow: himig. it's a concert for a cause, and it'll only cost you 50pesos per person.

*taps mic*

test mic. hello?

okay. umm, hi. we're the 2005-2006 fine arts majors of ateneo de manila, and this is our production journal.

the purpose of this journal is to let people see everything that we are doing to make the festival successful. our plans, our hopes, dreams, fears--everything will be shared here. you may find rants, raves and even just plain story-telling here.

but why not just start a community and have the people involved be members, you ask? well, to maintain a certain level of anonymity, we made a personal journal which everyone will know the password too. well, everyone involved with larawan, anyway.

so. come and join us in our misery journey as we start the second leg of making this school year's fine arts festival the most successful one yet.
